You know you’d like to make a few changes in your life – but there are just so many options – where do you start? How about on a personal day retreat with Jean, designed just for you.

This is a chance for you to slow down, spark your creativity, laugh, and unwind. At the same time gaining insight, nourishment and healing. That is what I am offering you on a personal day retreat with me.

Goals for our day together:

  • For you to be exposed to some new skills and treatments and find out what works best for you. With your private day retreat, you don’t need to go to ten different people to learn about ten different things. We can explore different mediums together and I can recommend which treatments will be the most effective for you.
  • For you to feel relaxed, happy and special. This is all for you, after all!
  • For you to have a game plan for how you can move forward, on your own, using the tools that you have been given on the day. Bite-sized actions, done consistently over time, have a huge impact.*We recommend another session at 4 weeks and 8 weeks to reinforce your new routine

The Sessions fall under three different categories:

  • Insight – look into ways your life is not working at the moment and find solutions
  • Nourishment- feed yourself, feed your soul, feel amazing
  • Healing- make yourself whole again, fix the parts that are unwell

From the options below, you can choose whichever you’d like, under any category. E.g. you could choose all the healing options and none of the insight ones. It’s completely up to you. There is a time estimate next to each session to give you an idea of how many things you can do in your chosen day/half-day retreat.


Coaching – 90 min

Do you often get the chance to clear out all the stuff that’s mumbled together in your head and then empty it out on non-judgmental, kind and reliable ears? Using my considered intuition and years of practical experience, I am able to help you see what is ‘real’, and what is stuff that your mind has turned over so often, that you think it’s true. The next step is to create a plan of action that will induce a change in behaviour. This will bring new outcomes. You will be sent out into the world with a fresh outlook and tools to help you manage.

Astrology – 90 min

Astrology is much more than a kooky prediction about whether today is the day to buy a lottery ticket. Knowing one’s blueprint, how the cosmos was aligned on our individual birth moments, can have a huge impact on understanding our place in the world. This give us clues into areas of our lives that are not going as we’d like. It can help us get unstuck, aid in relationships with others, and help make sense of the world around us. I will create a personalised birth chart for you and then help you understand what it all means.


A walk in Regent’s Park – 45 min

Fresh air + nature + perambulation = nourishment. A stone’s throw away lies Regent’s Park. Shall I show you the rose garden?

Lunch – 30 min *included in all-day retreat packages

Included in the all-day retreat packages is a nourishing and tasty lunch. I love cooking and sharing food. All food is vegetarian. I must warn you; if you don’t already like vegetables, there is a good chance that might change. *please let me know of any allergies.

Board Games – 60 min

This is one of my favourite ways to spend time: Scrabble, backgammon? Or, perhaps you’d like me to teach you my favourite 2-person card game…cribbage.

Healthy baking lesson – 45 min

If you have a sweet tooth like me, but also care about your health, I’d love to show you how to do healthy baking.  I will show you my favourite baking recipes. Some options include: Black bean brownies, Tofu brownies, Choco – avocado pudding, and Chickpea Blondies. I promise, you will love these


Pilates or Yoga – 60 min

Sore back? Stiff shoulders? Achy joints? Life isn’t as enjoyable when we are living with pain and stiffness. Joseph Pilates, the founder of the Pilates method said, ‘You are only as young as you feel’. What if I told you that a ten-min daily routine every morning could make a huge difference for you? No need for fancy gyms and state of the art gear. Roll out of bed, onto the floor, et voila. 10 min of exercise and watch the miracle happen.

I was a pilates teacher for many years, and a long time practitioner of yoga. During our session together I can show you some moves, depending on your individual necessities, and then create a 10-minute programme for you to continue with on your own.

Reiki – 60 min

Reiki is a system of holistic healing: it’s both rlaxing and powerful at the same time. Founded in Japan in the early 1900’s by Mikao Usui, Reiki is translated as Universal Spiritual Energy. During this relaxing and light-filled treatment (fully clothed) your body will be eased into deep relaxation. Opening up to this energy, promotes self-healing across physical, emotional and mental levels.

Facial reflexology – 30 min

Are you hesitant about putting toxins like botox in your face, but like the idea of firm skin and an even skin tone? I can teach you how to do the 10-min miracle routine using facial reflexology. Facial reflexology eases away wrinkles and tightens your face; at the same time, using pressure points based on eastern medicine, it also aids in improving overall health for the body.

How it works:

Day retreats are 5 hours. Afternoon retreats are 2.5 hours. Timings for the retreats are offered between the hours of 10-6pm.

You can mix and match whatever appeals to you, but a typical afternoon might look like this:

10: Arrival, coffee/tea, outline of day’s schedule

10:30-12:00: Interpretation of your astrological chart

12:00-12:30 Facial Reflexology

12:30-1:15: Lunch

1:15-2:15: Reiki Session

2:15-3:00: Stroll in Regent’s Park

3pm Departure

Who it is for:

A personal day retreat is for anyone, women and men, who feel stuck and stagnant in their life. Someone who is looking for a fresh start and could use some indulgence and spark in their life. I often find it attracts people who are in some kind of transitory period in their life: redundancy, divorce, recently moved.
