As a social and cultural anthropologist, my background is in the science of human behaviour. It’s based on flirting and dating data that I have gleaned from my many years of studying people in thi
s area. My flirt dating advice is not based on, ‘Oh yeah, I did that once and it really worked’. Instead, I make personalised, tailored programmes for individuals based on anthropological research. (I wrote my Masters Dissertation comparing the flirting behaviour of people in the cities of London, NY, Stockholm and Paris).
This Social Scientific base is a useful and fresh way to approach this subjective and emotional area of flirting and dating. Using methodologies, like sample size and participant observation, I am able to help you separate what is ‘true’ from stuff your mind makes up. Thereby, enabling you to get past your mental stumbling blocks and follow the path that you want to be on.
But science on its own can be a bit dry, which is why I always try to include humour, warmth and kindness in everything I do. For me, that’s the only way I can learn. Therefore, that’s the only way that I teach. I’ve coached people to: help them find their partners, become more confident flirts, and to live better lives – this lasts well beyond our coaching sessions together – and is my ultimate goal for you.
